In order to provide future generations of agave, we actively practice reforestation of agave via random seed spreading in the wild at a ratio of no less than 50-1 for every agave we harvest. Reforestation has a major health impact on the region’s biodiversity where we live, work, and play.

TASTING NOTES

C – Good Clarity. Clean. N – Ripe limes and lemons. Floral. Candy stores sweet aromas with a touch of clay pot.

P – Add grilled pineapple, banana, and orange blossom to the mix. There’s a sweetness like white cake with white icing. Gummy Bears too.

F – Long, warm, and inviting. Great balance. Pure.

C – Clear. N – Ripe Cherries and honeyed plantains. Expected subtle minerality and wet stone.

P – Cherries, cacao, dried mango. Clay pot-ish with a touch of ripe plum. Intense and bright.

F – Very, very long finish. Warm and balanced. Rich and full-bodied. Not hot. No burn.

C – Clear. N- Savory herbs with Anaheim chili pepper. Damp saddle. Allspice.

P – A BIG Spice bucket on the palate. Cinnamon, Five Spice with plain baked cheesecake sweetness. Assertive.

C – Good Clarity. Clear. N – Savory. Coconut. Fine forest wood. Very pretty.

P – Then…BOOM. White Chocolate covered salted macadamia nuts. OMG. Solid flavor core.

F – Smooth. Great texture and balance. Long, long finish. Not hot, with no burn whatsoever. So good.

Note – For me? Drink this Lumbre anytime the sun is high in the sky. A Great food match that can include a cold Mexican Beer…like Estrella! VAMOS !!!

TASTING NOTES

C – Clear. N – HUGE bubblegum aromas, blood orange, ripe papaya, and a nice touch of a campfire.

P – Pretty sweet-ish entry, then add some lime squeeze to the papaya that is rich and concentrated.

F – Long, long finish that holds together nicely, attributed to the beautiful citrus flavors. Crisp.

Note – The crispness of this Marteno makes it a great food match. I’m thinking Sonoran Cabeza Street Tacos or crazier. Salute!

C – Clear. N – WHOA! Flowers deluxe. Roses, Jasmin, and pine forest. Sandalwood incense then jumps from the glass.

P – Floral, wet slate, campfire, meaty with a tobacco touch. Complex.

F – Warm (not hot) and a long finish. Wait for it….wait….It all comes together here. NO Burn.
